Vagina smell like chocolate

Hi mummies! Anyone has the same issue where your vagina smells sweet / chocolatey? Even though it smells sweet but i am so uncomfortable with the smell. I wonder if anyone besides me can smell it too. I feel so self conscious. What should i do?

Is confinement necessary?

Hello mums! I live overseas and are looking to have a confinement lady. However cost is high due to overseas travel. Do you think it’s really necessary to have a confinement lady? My mum will come before hand and bring me all the herbal soups, baths and assist with misc stuff around the house. She could try cook with recipes. I’m also not really familar with the confinement practices . I would love to have one as I know it’s a big help, then again, with the money, I could do a lot by spending it on baby etc

Confinement meaning to help in physical recovery, mentally and emotionally. It is where you have a newborn and adjusting to the new member in your house. At the same time resting and healing yourself after going through pregnancy and labour. Thus, to me it is necessary. It is also a period where you get to have confinement food, learning all about motherhood, pampering urself with PP massage and the bonding period with your newborn. It is also a best time to get back in shape and ensuring your body gain strength while adjusting to all the new things around you.

Overseas confinement nanny

Hi fellow mamas! I live out of Singapore, in Dubai and will be due oct 2023. However, confinement Nanny is not the trend here… So I would like to know if anyone has recommended companies or confinement nanny that is open to this overseas assignment? Ensuite room and air tickets will obv be provided by me. I’ve asked a few confinement agencies in Singapore but all came back saying no. #pleasehelp

Hi everyone , ive got a question or mayb is just me …. Im currently in my 2nd pregnancy & i felt that after this pregnancy my anger is very bad especially towards my husband. The things he do always make me v angry till the extend that i want to divorce w him at certain extend . Anyone can relate ? #advicepls

I do get agitated easily during second pregnancy. Well I guess it is just pregnancy hormone. However, each time I feel angry, etc. Ill step away, breathe in out and time out from kids/spouse.

How much folic acid should i be taking?

I am now in week 11 of my pregnancy, i have 5mg of folic acid. I recently bought prenatal vitamins which has 800mcg of folic acid. Should i take both or can i just take the prenatal vitamins only

Folic acid can be taken up till 12th weeks and the amount will only be 5mg as advice recommended by most doctor. Subsequently, then you can take your other prenatal vitamins. However, if it contains folic acid, do seek advice if it is suitable for continuation.

Spotting with slight pelvic discomfort

Hi Mommies, I'm on my 10th week and i woke up this morning with spotting maybe about 2-3 drops of red blood and slight discomfort near my right pelvic bone. Is it a concern? Should i visit the OG for check up or should i monitor first? I think it is still on going, i got hints of spotting on my panty liner as i was just about to leave the house to work.

If you have spotting, feeling uncomfortable, visit OG to have it check to ensure it is all good and okay. Dont delay.

Week 13+3 absent nasal bone

Went for my FTS ultrasound and doctor broke the news to me that I might have 1:122 high risk of having Down syndrome baby as my baby's nasal bone can't be seen. Other than that, everything looks normal. Can i know any mummies experienced this news before but got a healthy baby at the end? Oh yes, i was 3days late taking my multivits and fish oil, could it be the reason the nasal bone maybe not fully developed yet? 😔 I couldn't hold back my tears when I heard this, I just can't believe what i heard. I took a harmony test and now i have to wait for 2 weeks. The staff said if theres no calls given before 2 weeks means nothing major happened. If calls received before 2 weeks meaning something happen. I hate this feeling and i wanna quickly get over it.

no it has nothing to do with whether u take multivits or fish oil or not.. some mummies don’t take anything at all but still have healthy children. do wait for harmony test. mine was high risk for thick NT and even did amnio, i feel your pain of waiting

Hello fellow mums! Do you know of any comfinement ladies contacts who are willing to take overseas assignment? I live in Dubai and am willing to pay for stay and air fees. However don’t know if anyone has recommended confinement Nanny that are open to travel?
