Hi mama I’m currently 29 weeks and 1 day pregnant I have food poisoning I went to kkh and see a doctor alr any advice what can I do to get better? I have been feeling nauseous and cramp does food poisoning affect #firstmom #worried my baby?

Just remember to drink even more water than usual to hydrate back your body. Eat proper and clean. Eat medicine on time. Rest well and don’t forget your supplements. Don’t worry. It will not affect your baby if you take good care of yourself.

Stomach pain and contractions

Hi mamas how do u diff shape contraction and stomach pains? #firsttimemom

Stomach pain just like normal while contractions can be from mild to tense (menses cramp) You can count the contractions usually from minutes to seconds. Sometimes can also be false alarm which can be braxton hicks.

Normal for 1 years old 1 months to had milk frequently and result in less solid food ?

Pretty much normal. Main supplement for kids would be milk. Solid will be secondary, though it is advisable to have solid intake for more nutrients. However not all kids like solid. They prefer baby snacks + milk. As long as there are weight gain there should not be an issue.

Third trimester test

Any mama knows what test there is during the third trimester? #firstmom #firsttimemom

Full blood count (check red blood, white blood etc) - normal blood test, group B strep (GBS) (check for bacteria) - cotton swab in your vagina, membrane sweep (to induce labour) - insert finger into your vagina and up through the cervix and lastly, dilation check when closer to labour date (how many cm dilated) - putting fingers in your vagina. Not sure if I missed any but do Google to read more. Some might not be tested for membrane sweep and/or dilation check. It depends on your situation at that period of time, then gynae will determine accordingly.

Asking about GDM

Hi moms, I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant. Last week, I had a baby scan, and the doctor mentioned that my baby's tummy is slightly bigger than the head. I had pre-diabetes before pregnancy, which has led to gestational diabetes (GDM) during pregnancy. Besides exercising and controlling my diet, what else can I do? Has anyone else experienced this? Could you share your experiences? Did you have a natural birth or a C-section?

hi all ftm here. Should I be concerned ??? I’m flying out of Singapore tmr morning and really not sure whether to go see a doctor or not. my tummy doesn’t hurt. But my back does. Currently 27 weeks pregnant

Baby position 28 weeks

Since my 12 weeks scan, 20 weeks scan baby is mostly in breech position. More like sunny side up, with buttocks at my pelvic area. I’m 28 weeks now and still feel the movements around the same area, not in the upper or rib area. Is this normal? Has baby moved before or always in the same position? Overthinking and worrying about the position. Please share if any similar experience or what I should take note of please. Thank you

Anyone took they’re gluocose test Alr? I’m taking this week I have a phobia of vomiting and I heard it’s super common to vomit during the glucose drink rlly nervous any advice? #1sttimemom #adviceappreciated

Hi mama’s! I’m currently pregnant and I have pupp rash I had try my doctors medicine cream but it’s not working it’s getting super itchy and I feel so irritated cause of it any advice? #firstmom ##advice #pupprash

Rinse with cold water and try avoid seafood, all nuts, all seaweed first?? Avoid inflammatory food. See if doc can allow u apply su balm or eat anti histamine the small yellow pill ppl eat for eczema or runny nose

Obgyn appointment

For those who had low-risk pregnancies, how often did you have to go for check up? After 28 weeks, when is the next appointment?

Every monthly till week 32, then every 2 weeks till week 36, every weekly from week 37 onwards. I don’t have any complications/risk.
