Nan Optipro Formula Milk in Singapore VS in Malaysia

Hi mummies, Any difference in ingredients for Nestle Nan formula milk selling in Singapore and Malaysia? Looks like Malaysia is selling Nan Pro and Spore is selling as Nan Optipro.. a bit confused whether they are the same? My LO is currently 5m+ and had been taking Nan Optipro SG version. 5 month old poo poo almost twice before every feed

My 5 month old boy has been poo poo almost 2-3 times before every feed (3hourly) and have bad diaper rash. Brought him to KKH and they say only to bring him in again if there is blood in the poo. For now , take lactogg 😑 currently he is on a mix feed . One week plus and things not getting better , any mummies face this issue before ? Any advice ?

Is it you are giving FM or BM? If BM do watch for what you eat while if it is FM, can be baby is lactose intolerant or baby drink soy/goat milk, you might want to change brand. It is indeed painful esp if they have diaper rash with constant pooping.

My girl has been growing this on her back quite a few days . It spread till her neck … in fact all over her body now . Does anyone know what is this ? Is it normal ?

What is this

It looks like heat rashe but yet same time like chickenpox. Best if you are unsure to have it check ASAP for doctor to examine.

Is it okay for 6 month old to sleep less?

My baby 6 months is sleeping little during the day. He'll sleep from 9/10 to 7 am and a 1 hr nap in the morning. After that all his nap combined is just 1 hr or max 2 hrs rarely. I feel that he's sleeping too little. Is it okay for him to go without much sleep?

My little one has been crying for milk during midnight ever since we come to my mum hometown

Hi mummies this is abit long but I can’t I need to rant and ask for advice So basically ever since we come over from sg to my mum hometown at indoensia my little one been crying for milk for like 3 times during midnight back in sg she dosent even cry for milk and also she been falling down often in here as she is currently gg to 6 months soon back in sg she hardly fall down Hais I’m starting to worry and my grandma anyhow feed my child like adult food uk soya sauce and porridge but abit and she do that when I was away in the shower come out see her feed say is ok old tradition blah blah but like now baby and last time baby is diff wa i told my mum About it she say she sick she also cnnt go back sg I just wanna pack me n my bby stuff n just go back sg 🥺 what Shld I do?

Hi mama, I don’t think more drinking has anything to do with falling down. It may just be so coincidental that she’s entering the growth spurt leap (usually 6mo) where she tends to feed more. This usually last about 1-2 weeks depending on inidividuals. Also, it might be because your grandma fed her soya sauce and since she can’t drink water yet, she’s feeling thirsty hence the extra feedings. I wouldn’t pack and go back immediately, I would sternly warn her not to do that. And especially since she’s my own side of grandparent, I’ll just tell her what I don’t like. If you cannot follow or insist to continue doing so, then only I will pack and leave because you do not know what is respect. For my case, it was my mil who tried to offer my baby a nip of roast pork at 3mo. I told her NOT to feed my baby anything including water. Regardless of baby food or whatsoever, do not feed her anything without my consent before 12mo. But yes, as expected, after 1yo, she just feed her all sorts of strawberry cake, abit of whatever she’s eating but since after 1yo liao I close one eye. Perhaps you can try letting them know that you would like them to refrain from feeding your child anything below 1yo. Because grandparents tend to “love” their grandchild and just give without controlling.

Midnight feed - 5 months

Hi mommies, FTM here. Any advice recommendation when is the suitable months to stop feeding midnight feed. My daughter going to 6 months always woke up at 12/1am feed & 4am feed. Any method to stop on this. This is tiring.

I did not do any training, my lo just naturally started STTN at 8mo without night feeds unless she’s going thru growth spurts (feed at 6am, 9am, 11am). Growth spurts usually happens at 3/6/9 mo.. it usually last about two weeks. However, it may not work the same for all babies.

6 month baby having fever for almost a week

My 6 month baby is having fever since last Friday and to add on she’s having cough and flu few days later as well. Went to KKH on Tues as it’s been 5 days to check further and there’s no infection or whatsoever. Dr said that it’s just a viral fever and will go away after a week plus. So I’ve been monitoring and giving her meds on time. Is this normal? It’s day 7 now, she’s still having fever up and down. #firsttimemom

What I know this viral fever/flu/infection going on with kids adults baby are taking long to recover as compared to covid. The virus variant seems much more difficult for one to recover. If this persistent then you might want to revisit dr and seek further advice

My bby fall down from the bed and got bruises 5 months

Hi my bby fall down from the bed and got abit of bump I felt like the worse mum I help my mum to get smth n end up she fall from the bed and is awhile only what should I do

I have the same anxiety everyday that's why I never leave my daughter unattended on my bed. Leave her inside her cot if you have to. Also see a doctor to see if she has any fractures.
