Hello mummies, anyone can share what to prepare in the hospital bag for natural birth?

Is it safe to eat chayote or sayote during pregnancy?

Just wondering if like unriped papaya which contains latex that promotes uterine contraction has the same effect as the latex contained in chayote.

if u have doubt then better to ask your gynae or just don't eat it

Baby Movement at Week 19

Hello, it’s my first pregnancy and is it normal i have yet to feel my baby kicking? Anterior Placenta too, lower chances of feeling it yet?

it’s also my first preg with anterior placenta. i think i felt some movements some time at week 21, and it has some fluttery feels at the lower part. sometimes even near the bladder. but movements throughout the day weren’t consistent - sometimes can’t even feel any!

Sensitive to smell

Hi all, first time pregnancy. I’m already at week 17 and still sensitive to smell - triggers me to vomit. I can’t smell my house and this is giving me alot of stress cause i’m stuck in my masterbedroom - lonely and felt useless. Anyone facing the same issue?

I can't use the public toilet at work or shopping center.. it makes me vomit. week 18 here. I even burn a candle in my home toilet before I brush my teeth or I will gag at the slight smell of drainage

FTS scan intermediate risk, NIPT low risk

I took both FTS and NIPT concurrently. FTS NT value was within normal range but the FTS blood test came back with intermediate risk (1 in 369). On the other hand, my NIPT was low risk. Anyone with similar experience? Should I be worried over this?

hi, how long did the nipt results take to come back?

Hello! Any of you took FTS low risk and still go for NIPT test?

What’s the result? Thankss!

My gynae says if FTS low risk don't need waste money to go for nipt unless FTS shows significant risk then go for NIPT

Rosemary oil and caster oil in pregency

Hi mommies there, I am in the second trimester and i have been using rosemary oil(4 drops) for my head massage, but just now i have found out that expecting mother shouldn’t be used rosemary oil. Any suggestions or I am confused

unfortunately, the answer is far from clear-cut. best to avoid using esp during 1st trimester.

Cordycep during pregnancy?

Hi mummies, have you heard of/taken cordycep related soups during pregnancy? My mil bought some cordycep soups and wanted to cook for me saying that it’s good for me but I googled and there’s conflicting results on whether it’s okay to drink or not. Staying anonymous as it’s mil related…

I've had cordycep flower throughout my pregnancy, both in soups or in bird nest, now in my 3rd trimester and all is well. I only avoided strong herbs like ginseng. If you're worried then don't consume it, don't feel pressured.

yes, my gyne shared w me when I was week 9 that 1 cup of caffeine a day, is fine
