Bring breastpump to the hospital?

Hi mummies! I'm starting to pack my hospital bag but just wondering if it's a must to bring our own breastpump to the hospital? I'll be delivering at KKH

They do provide breast pump however, if you are not comfortable to use KKH's pump, you can bring your own.

Did your Braxton hicks hurt?

I’m in the last few weeks before my EDD and this is my first pregnancy. I’m not very sure whether it’s my baby pushing against me or my uterus tensing up due to braxton hicks.

Yeap I have the same feeling and I am also in my 36th week feeling this. I checked with my gynae and she said tightness around belly is Brady on hicks

Is there a way to block people who type in tagalog. I'm getting so sick and tired of these people .

Tagalog language

Just block the user everytime you see one. There’s no way to block all at once unfortunately 🤷🏻‍♀️. However, it’s personal preference cause that being said, there are also people who only type in malay/viet language as well despite this platform being 99% English.

Private Gynae & B2

Hi mommies! Just wondering is it a must to take A1/ B1 ward? I took up a private gynae at KKH. Which because i want only the only female doc attended to me. Some of my friends say i cannot opt for B2 ward because i took private. Is it true? I don’t mine B2 or C ward actually 🤭

U can only take B2 ward and above for private

vaginal birth delivery

hi! any mummies here are comfortable to share your vagina birth experience whether with or without epidural? im due in a month's time, i just want to know more about vagina birth experience😅

Cervical check was all right for me. I only ask for epidural when i was 6cm dilated. But dk could it be due to epidural, i dont feel any contractions while is time to push the baby. I took an hour + to push the baby out.

Sharp pain at left side of tummy. 21 week pregnant. Anyone having the same issue?

Sudden feel a sharp pain on my super left side of my tummy. I'm at my 21 weeks 4 days now. Is this an issue that I need to go hospital? But it Just sharp pain for less than 1 minute only. After that the pain is gone

It could just be a ligament pain. As baby is growing hence you will feel pain here and there even groin, pelvic, back, etc. Unless if pain persistent for hours then it is advisable to visit doctor/gynae.

Bouncer or parenting station?

Hi, FTM here. Am considering to get combi parenting station or baby Bjorn mesh bouncer. Do we need both, or just either one? If so, which is better? Thanks!

Get the combi parenting station if you have to get either one. At the very least it can use as a high chair when you start solids while the mesh bouncer cannot.
