I am so sad. My protein in urine might be more than normal during pregnancy and they say i might have some kidney issues. I hope it might just be kidney stones after scanning. If it is kidney disease, idw to be on dialysis in future or at old age.

Sleep arrangement with confinement nanny

Hi mummies, I'm intending to breastfeed but have my baby sleep with the confinement nanny due to limited space in my master. But I'm not sure if this is feasible. Do nannies typically stay up at night with mummies? Any advice on the best arrangement for night feeds?

Yes, the nanny will help to take care of the baby throughout the night, unless you tell her not to. For me, I also let my baby sleep with the nanny overnight in a separate room coz I have an older child sleeping with me and my husband. When it’s time for feeding, the nanny will carry her to my room and knock on the door. After I finish breastfeeding my baby, I pass it back to the nanny and she’ll change + coax my daughter to sleep. As for best arrangement for night feeds, after the nanny, I find that co-sleeping is the best because it allows most rest for mummy :) you can try and experiment and see how things work out for you!

My baby 3 months old have been getting eye discharge for three days. Should i be worried and see doctor? No redness only sticky eye and watery. Any home remedy?

What colour is the eye discharge? If it is green/yellowish could be sore eyes, it can be due to also heaty Pls visit doctor for further check.

kendamil goat infant milk

hi! any mummies here use kendamil goat infant milk for your LO? im switching from similac to this as my LO always has very bad constipation. does goat milk really help?

hi I use Karihome from day one, and have been fine - no colic, no constipation. You probably need to try a small can to know whether it's suitable for your LO

Getting pregnant again

My baby is now 4 months old. I am already planning for second child. How soon after giving birth we can get pregnant again? Any advice for mom that have experience getting pregnant again after 4 months of delivery. Reason is bcs age is really catching up for me. I am 37 years old. I would love to have 2 kids, go thru again and stop there haha

can start already if you want. 14-15months difference is ok. i know of babies that are 11months apart

Hi. I’m currently using avent bottle for my 3 months old bby. He drinks abt 120ml. Current bottle is only till 125ml. We’re abt to give him 150ml, any other brand bottle to recommend? Avent next big bottle seems to be very big for bby😂

my LO uses hegen bottles(150ml) and is drinking about 120ml

Anyone feeling the same way as me? Baby’s growing up and missing the newborn stage :( And strangely when she was at her newborn stage I missed my pregnancy phase.

Yes, totally feel you… it’s perfectly normal. I feel this way now that my daughter is 3mo and also in my first pregnancy when I had my son. I remember crying after my son was born because he was no longer in my tummy. Then this morning, I realised that my baby girl is growing up so fast because her legs have reached the edge of the seat.. no longer the small thing that I could carry with 1 hand but now she’s so cute and smiley. The pregnancy and child rearing journey is full of contradicting feelings 😅 I guess what’s most important is to realize that there is only now, so cherish and treasure the moment. And take more photos to look back!

Eczema cream for infant less than 6month

Sigh I’m so guilty for passing eczema to my kids :( any cream or doctor for recommendation pls? Currently tried mustela , ceradan, cetaphil and all not useful :(

Maybe perhaps would suggest for you to see specialist in skin care clinic as well as doing diary journel to monitor what triggers the infant eczema. Also you start switching to product that doesn't use ingredient that also triggers the eczema too.
