K A W A S A K I D I S E A S E Our son UNO was diagnosed last 12 October 2022 with a rare disease called KAWASAKI. At first, We though it was just "Tigdas Hangin". And it started last; 10 October 2022 Morning, Uno has a high fever and in the afternoon he had some rashes in his legs. We brought him in the nearest private clinic, and advise us to observe the rashes. 11 October 2022 Morning, the rashes increased and his fever didn't go. In the afternoon, his eyes becomes bloodshot. 12 October 2022 Morning, his bloodshot eyes becomes more red, even the rashes multiplied, and irritable. So we decided to bring him into another private clinic nearby which is referred by Uno's Ninang (Thank you so much, Ninang Gela. Literally your name means Angel for Uno.) Dra Susan's initial diagnosis was Kawasaki due to the signs she saw; Rashes, Fever, Red Lips, Red Throat and bloodshot eyes. Immediately, she referred us to her Friend Dra Robles which is affiliated in MCU hospital, she also confirmed that it is really a Kawasaki Disease, and told us how expensive the medications are. The only treatment advised by the doctors is the IVIG, which is also needed to start asap. Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG) contains antibodies that help boost the immune system. One vial costs around PhP 21,000 โ PhP 27,000 and he needed 7 vials to complete the treatment for 14 hours. The number of vials depends on the childโs age and weight. The next day due to slow progress in the said hospital, we decided to transfer Uno and call his Pedia in CGH, and told what happen; she immediately advise us to go in ER. In this case the ER-Pediatric Unit act quickly so that they can transfer us in our room and called the pharmaceutical company who could gave us the said IVIG. After doing lots of test and treatment they gave; THANK YOU LORD, Uno is getting better now. Thank you to all our friends and family who constantly message us. Hello may nakakaalam po ba rito kung saan po makakabili ng earrings na qp po ang brand? Un kc ung brand raw nung earrings as per pedia na pinagpakabitan namin kay baby. Kaso pinalitan namin. Naitapon ko na ata. Kaso ung pinalit namin na earrings is hindi hiyang si baby. Caflon na un ha.
