Sciatica in first trimester

I know it's normal to have sciatica during the first trimester pero how normal po? Lately kasi sobrang sakit na to the point na mahirap lumakad, mas mahirap na matulog at bumangon, sharp pain talaga. Nagsabi na ako sa OB ko nung check up namin nung 8 weeks palang Ako (now 10 weeks) na may pain na sabi lang sakin na bed rest lang. Note na I also mentioned sa OB ko na I have been doing strength training consistently since 2022 (I do deadlifts, squats, bench presses etc), tapos wfh lang ako ngayon. Halos lagi nalang ako bed rest, light exercise lang. Pumupunta ako sa gym once a week nalang (minsan none at all) tapos sobrang less intense na exercise na compared sa heavy lifting na ginagawa ko before. The other day, nag gym ako pero more on exercises to relieve lang sana my sciatica and 2 leg exercises with light dumbbells, pero mas sumakit lang ng sobra. My weight is also normal, and other vitals. I don't remember my sisters complaining of this much pain, di sila nagwoworkout before pregnancy, overweight sila, pero nakakapag RTO pa sa office during 1st trimester. Planning to get checked by an Ortho din, may deadlift injury Kasi ako before pregnancy pero it didn't completely heal so baka Isang factor din yun. Have you experienced something like this din? Pregnancy symptoms are normal din. Occasional light spotting lang, binigyan na ako ng pampakapit at 8 weeks. Nauseous lang ako, no vomiting. Normal cramping lang sa lower abdomen dahil lang siguro sa pregnancy. No pain naman kapag umiihi and no blood sa urine. #Needadvice #firsttimemom
