Implantation bleeding or period coming?

So yesterday I was supposed to have my period.. I'm on birth control but missed my first pill of the month.. Yesterday I was spotting (see pic with very little spotting).. But today I'm spotting again (small spotting early morning around 8am), then now at 11:30am it became a very light period with cramps like my period is coming.. What could this be?
