When your child starts to get curious about his genitals, is it appropriate to teach him the "correct term" (i.e. Penis)? Or to use euphemism such as "bird bird"?

Anatomical names only for me. By not using the correct terms it makes a child shameful of their body parts when infact it is no different from their hands, fingers, toes, etc. The American Academy of Pediatrics states "It is important to teach your child the proper names for body parts. Making up names for body parts may give the idea that there is something bad about the proper name."
