u shud discuss with ur superior and gynae.. as some employers may question the doctor for issuing HL when staff is not actually hospitalized. I had my HL 1mth b4 edd..so i get plenty rest and hv time to prep in case early delivery..
Currently pregnant with my 3rd. My gynae gave me HL on my 35th week bcos my 1st born was delivered at 35 weeks. 2nd born, managed to hold it til 37 weeks. Now I'm at my 36th week. Gynae says baby might come on my 37th... Keeping fingers crossed!
I m currently 36+5. Im on HL til my next appt and my dr said he would extend til the bby is out! Currently lower back hurts everytime the baby moves… it’s bearable but feels like current shocks to my spine…
Asked for HL but my gynae said if I never feel unwell, she can't issue me with HL. So worked all the way till one day before I popped (induced labor).
I started at 36 weeks. Just enough time before I popped at 38w+5d. Give yourself at least a month so that you won’t have to rush things!
edd 14 jan, took hl around 21 Dec for 1 week plus follow by ml. but bb decided to come out early Jan... so it depends on your situation n discussion with gynae
Doc at first said 38 weeks, but I have very bad tailbone and hip pain so started HL now at 36 weeks..and already 2cm dilated
I didn’t know how to take HL and for how long :( should have requested before applied my ML, i began ML at 36 weeks.
i start my HL when i was 32 weeks preg. As my company wan mi to take long leave n provided my gynae willing to help...
36wks too and plan to start at 38wks since WFH. Saving ML for time with baby!
