When do baby sits up on their own

my baby isn't out yet but my 10 months old cousin can sit but still doesn't crawl. not sure if she really doesn't know how to or is just pure lazy Haha! my grandmother always tell us that every baby is different so it's ok! there's also this weird myth, that if baby starts talking later = they are actually smarter
