Eczema in babies look like a dark scaly rash. The symptom is that it is quite itchy. The kid keeps scratching at the particular area. The good part is that most of the kids outgrow eczema after the age of 2. So if the baby's skin at a particular area is red and scaly and he is becoming irritable because of that, do check for eczema. The baby wants to be get scratched all the time, and the skin turns more red and sometimes, tiny red bumps oozes out of the skin as well.
