My baby's Name: Lorenzo McAvin Meaning: "Laurel, The Son of Love" - Lorenzo is from a Latin word “ Laurus” which means ‘laurel’ (a symbol of wisdom and accomplishment) - Mc is abbreviation of Mac, a prefix which means "Son of" - Avin is a Kurdish and Nepal word meaning "Love" Nickname: "PaoPao" or "Enzo" Why PaoPao? 4/25/2014: I got positive results in 3 pregnancy tests. 4/27/2015: We went to Makati Med for a check up. My OB asked me to have a transvaginal ultrasound to ensure that I was pregnant (have it from any clinics and I decided to get it outside Makati Med), but there was no fetus nor intrauterine gestational sac seen. The OB asked me to urinate again in a bottle and she did the pregnancy test on her own to recheck if I really had a positive PT result. She mentioned that I might be having a baby outside my uterus. I was crying when I heard the word ectopic. 😢 We were so worried and we prayed to God that if this baby was really for us, please make him safe and give us a chance to have him. We love him so much. She ordered series of serum beta HCG test and blood tests to rule out ectopic pregnancy. When we saw the BHcg results, I had an increasing (good result) Beta HCG test results, so my OB ordered another transvaginal ultrasound after a week (have it only in Makati Med) to see if I was really carrying a baby intrauterine and to validate our assumption that the first ultrasound machine was not just sensitive enough to detect my baby. 5/3/2015: That night I had a beautiful dream. I was carrying a baby boy. I was playing with him, together with my husband and my parents. We were calling him PaoPao! When I woke up, I asked God, "Lord, if this dream was a sign that I will be having a baby boy soon, I pray to you that our baby would show up in the next ultrasound". 5/4/2015: I had my ultrasound in Makati Med. The sonologist congratulated us for having a 5 week old baby! We were teary-eyed for being so blessed. 👶🏻☺️🙏 From that moment, I promised to call him PaoPao, as we were calling him in my dream. 👶🏻👌🏻
