gestational diabetes test

What's the duration of the GD test? I was told to come in the morning cos it will last the whole day.

You will need to fast 8 hours before the test. On arriving, they draw blood first. Then you will be asked to drink the very sweet drink. Then they will draw blood again after 1 hour and after 2 hours. So by then it's almost lunch time, and you would be very hungry by then, so best to get early 8am appointment kind
