Yeah agree with the contributor above.. BUT I have heard of girls getting their period at younger ages, 8 or 9. This is why I believe that kids should be educated about these things at a younger age -- kids grow up really fast these days, physically, emotionally etc.

It depends, girls start around 11 - 13, and boys around 14-ish onwards.
