My gynae had noticed tt the NT was high during one of my scans as well, probably end of first trimester. She sent me to take a more detailed scan, which concluded that it was likely due to the angle that the baby was scanned at the previous time. Nothing wrong with the thickness after the second scan. Nipt results also went well. Hope your baby will turn out fine too 🙏
mine shows quite a big gap during first check as well i was overthinking alot however NIPT came back low risk and the next check up the gap became smaller and NT was in good range! NT measurements can go lower after week 12! Hope everything will turn out well for you 🙏🏻
Thank you! I hope mine shrinks too.
My baby had NT 2.6mm at 13 weeks. My gynae said its slightly high and abnormal results that are worrying is usually above 3mm. U may wish to get NIPT done, for a peace of mind. I did NIPT to be sure, and it all came back as low risk. Dont worry!
Just curious, did you do FTS/Oscar as well?
Not sure what the gap is referring to and which area is that from ultrasound as we are not doctors. Best to follow what your gynae advise.
you may want to opt for NIPT to get higher accuracy of results. hope all is well!
Thank you! We have already scheduled our NIPT
Sorry, I’m curious, what is NT? All the best to you and baby 🌸
Nuchal Translucency. Basically, behind the neck area you could see some ‘extra skin’ & usually filled with fluid. Supposedly if this is too thick, they suspect it is associated to down syndrome / chromosomal anomalies.
