Myth vs Fact
Is wearing surgical gloves effective in preventing the covid-19 virus? MYTH!!!! FACT 👇🏻 Wearing new and sterile gloves is not as effective as 20 seconds of hand washing with soap and water, it has risks transferring germs from one surface to another and contaminating your hands when removing them. But they can help you avoid touching an infected surface or item with your bare hands. Healthcare workers wear gloves only for specific tasks. Keep in mind that gloves can only prevent infection if you don't touch your face with your gloved hands, and only if you take off and dispose of the gloves correctly before washing your hands. Remember that the best way to prevent spreading or getting infected with COVID-19 is through washing your bare hands for 20 seconds with water and soap, maintaining at least six feet of physical distance between yourself and others, and regularly washing and disinfecting surfaces in your household. Wear mask and help protect yourself, your family and our nation. #ProudtobeABakuNanay #AllAboutBakuna #HealthierPhilippines #VaccinesWorkforAll
