How to poo poo & slp well at nite?

Hi! Any ways to help newborn poo at least once (large amt) a day? I tried doing the bicycle kick & lightly rubbing his tummy in circular motion already. & may I ask, will sleeping too much during the day cause newborn not able to sleep at nite?
