For me,
I need to recover my body back after delivering. This is very important for me, especially for the first two weeks at least. Don’t miss the golden period to recover back your health. Also, I don’t think my husband will be able to cope baby + house chores alone.
Nobody will be cooking nourishing meals for me (because husband will be too tired).
I can learn how to take care of a baby from the nanny from third week onwards while my husband learns during the first two weeks.
If you have someone to take care of the baby, clean the house and cook for you, then you might not need a confinement nanny. It depends on your situation.
