Mid cycle bleeding

Trying to conceive. Perform intercourse during ovulation period. However the next morning after intercourse, started experiencing some light spotting. Continue to perform intercourse in the evening. The next day, experience slightly more bleeding at night and stopped. Has any ladies experience this before? How many days does it last?
