6 weeks old baby drinking every 1.5hrs

Is it true that they say baby boy drinks more milk more often ? My 6 weeks old baby boy born @ 3kg and now is 4.9kg, fully formula fed and drinking 80ml/feed. First few weeks he used to drink every 3hr then it changed to mostly every 2hrs and recently past few days its only 1.5hr bt he’s already crying for milk and nothing can console him. I try to drag time by consoling him or taling to him, rock him, walk walk but nothing works, he keep crying and showing hungry cue. Like searching for nipple etc. Should i still give him if he demand even if its only 1.5hr? Mostly during daytime. Nightime after 11/12pm he would usually cry 3-4hrs. Im scared im overfeeding him and itll lead to health issue. But if according to calculation weight x150ml, he’s still within the range. Just that im scared of keep feeding him less than 2hrs. Since they say babies always feed 2-3hrs. Anyone facing same thing too?

Feed on demand. My 6 weeks old drinks every 3-4 hours, sometimes 5 hours at night but he eats 120 to 150ml every feeding (mine is Breastmilk so im not sure if theres a diff). if your LO is not vomiting milk then you're prolly not over feeding. The extra milk he drinks will be pooped out so don't need to worry too much about feeding too much. At most he just more uncomfortable cuz he has more gas (burp him more) or needs to poop more per day.
