Hi Doc Jas, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and now that Im on my 3rd trimester napapansin ko napapadalas ang pagshift ng mood ko and pag attack ng anxiety so nagpa check up ako with my psychiatrist then meron syang nireseta ng meds for me which sabi nya safe daw sa preggy. How safe kaya ito? Natatakot ako baka magkarron ng side effect kay baby eh. Salamat po.

Hi maam. we usually give a huge consideration for the state that you are in - especially during pregnancy and how it has an impact to your baby. Sometimes, mood changes could be reflective of your hormones and it could also affect your baby. When your doctor mentions po na it is safe for the preggy, then I'm pretty sure po they also thought of your baby. I'd advise taking it po and if you have these concerns po, it will help to share this to your doctor so they can address the issue personally, I'm pretty sure they'll understand you :)
