Separation Anxiety

Any toddlers here 18mths above having bad separation anxiety in the beginning when put in childcare? My baby also only allows 2 of us to carry her and refuses anyone else most of the time. Worried & having anxiety how she will manage childcare when some of them don’t allow parents in at all too in the first few days.

Mine was more than 2.5 years old when she started pre-nursery, and she was also like that 😂 It’s very normal. Many of these little ones cry initially, but most of them will get used to it, and in fact, start enjoying childcare/school. I wasn’t allowed inside too, but my daughter got better after a couple of weeks. Loved the place and her teachers so much after that.
