I will still keep talking to her. May be I will try saying some rhymes or stories, so that my child feels the urge to indulge in the conversation

I'll find out what makes her happy, her interest and start talking or singing to her about things she likes.

Find out what interest her and don’t berate her for being quiet. It can really hurt their feelings

I would worry if there might be a speech problem, or if anything is affecting her psychologically

Sometimes they are just more of an introvert. Keep talking to her, encourage her to share

be patient. find out what she is interested in and encourage that as well
