Is it okay to mix med syrup with juice / milk?

My toddler doesn't want to take vitamins / medicine in syrup form. Is it okay to mix it with juice or milk? Like cough syrup ( Solmux) and juice? Hirap kasi painumin ayaw naman namin ng sapilitan kasi either idudura nya din or yun nga grabe yung pag-iyak pag pinilit. Thank you po sa sasagot. :)
