Paternity leave

those whose due date is in late Dec, do u intend to appeal for the extension of paternity leave from 2 wks to 4 wks since it will only commence on 1 Jan 2024? if yes, how can I go about appealing it? appreciate all your advices as the 2 wks would really make a difference when it comes to helping and taking care of nb :(

I highly doubt they will approve thou. My friend tried to appeal for the covid bonus (her baby came out literally a few days before the commencing date) and was rejected. They will probably advise you to share your own ML instead.

Tbh i wouldnt bother. Anyway i believe not all companies offer the 4 wks of paternity leave also
