baby found to have triphalangeal thumb and polydactyly

Hi there, wanna know if there are any mummies whose baby has an extra digit on the hand? E.g. extra thumb, extra finger, extra joint on a finger etc. My baby was found to have triphalangeal and polydactyly. So wanted to hear from mummies with similar experiences on what to expect. Just wanna share that I am okay with my baby having triphalangeal and polydactyly :) will still keep my baby despite this congenital anomaly.

it’s quite common i know a few friends whose babies have these, they opted for surgical removal after birth.m

not that i know of as the parents decided since it may affect daily functions as they grow, they decided to remove.. such as using scissors. minimal disruptions but they felt better to do so
