Do you still continue to BF your child when you’re down with sore throat and flu? I’m worried I may transfer it to my LO. All the more, she’s only 2 months old. Can I still carry her & keep her close to me? :(
It’s safe to continue to breastfeed your LO. If you need to visit the doctor for medi, do let the doctor knows that you are breastfeeding your LO so that the doctor can prescribe breastfeeding safe medi to you. When you are unwell, won’t affect your breastmilk to your LO, however advise to wear mask so that it won’t pass to your LO through airborne.
