Not responding to his name

My son who is 14 months old is not responding to his name, but he is responding to a rhyme or his favourite song when ever we sing even when we are across the hall. Is it normal or do I need to check with my paediatrician.

my son used to be like this too. have to reduce the screen time and talk more to him.
