till 6 months of age, many babies do not have a lot of hair growth, and even then the growth could be quite slow. now that your baby will start eating a lot of other types of foods and fluids, it is a great way for you to provide the required nutrition to your little one. also, this is the stage when your baby will start getting more hair. unless you notice a lot of bald or scaly patches on the head, do not worry. you can wait for another 3 4 months before bringing it up with the pediatrician. do check out this link http://www.livestrong.com/article/527123-what-could-cause-a-babys-hair-to-be-slow-in-growth/ https://parentinghealthybabies.com/11-things-to-do-for-infant-hair-growth/ http://www.blogher.com/how-make-your-child%E2%80%99s-hair-grow-faster

I wouldn't worry about it. My girls had thin hair during that age, but now their hair is thicker and longer :)
