My sister got her 1st dose of COVID-19 vaccine 5 days ago. When she got home, she had an allergic reaction with rashes on both of her arms. Sharing how we manage it:
1. You can take any anti-allergy at home. If none, you can buy those over the counter anti-allergy drugs sa pharmacy, convenience or grocery store.
2. Report to your respective City Surveillance Center. Their number is usually available in your vaccination card.
3. Please have a doctor consultation for proper treatment. Also there will be free teleconsult available in your city if you just had your COVID19 vaccine.
4. Watch out for warning signs: difficulty of breathing, wheezing, or rashes and swelling all over your body. If you have any of this, immediately go to an Emergency Room.
5. Make sure to have a hypoallergenic diet to not aggravate the symptoms.
6. Always, do not panic and be equipped of the right information. 😊
