Symptoms

It says that I am 8 weeks pregnant by today. I did not experience any pregnancy symptoms by now aside from I am 17 days delayed on my period so I used pregnancy test kit to confirm and iy turns out POSITIVE! Is there any posibility that this is just a false alarm? I haven't checked on any doctor yet. Thank you.
