Read through each quick review here http://blog.pawnhero.ph/8-best-budget-laptops-this-2015-starting-from-p8000/ Another list with reviews I found is posted just this 2016 with Lenovo ThinkPad winning the overall ratings. It is easily portable, with great design and over the top performance. I understand you're concerned about durability, well, this one has a powerful interior plus a body material strong enough to protect it from damages by dropping. It is light weight, best for ttravelling if you need to run mommy errands but have urgent work to accomplish. Mac, Lenovo and Acer are my top choices. As for affordability and quality, I'll go for Lenovo especially if the budget is below Php20,000. But for work at home moms, it's always best to consider investing on your tools.
