Hello po mga Mi. Tanong ko po sana sa mga gumagamit po ng cloth diapers. Plan ko po sana mag start ng CD for my second baby. 1. Ano po brand ang maganda and sulit? 2. Ilan po ba dapat bilhin for Starters? 3. Dapat po ba D0 pa lang ni LO CD na agad? 4. Mas nakakatipid po ba talaga siya considering time, cleaning ng CD and the likes? Marami pong salamat. Makakatulong pp responses niyo for the research and decision.
ECD kami ng firstborn ko until completely potty trained at around 2.5yo 1. Depende sa budget mo. Personally, nagrange from P170 - P300 ang brands na gamit namin (mostly Whitesnaps & Booldeet for covers. Bebe bottoms & Butt Sew Lil for inserts). Ok pa naman at ipapagamit ko pa sa 2nd child ko this time, pero yung mga Whitesnaps, pina-repair/ replace ko na yung garters dahil loose na. The rest ay ok pa naman. 2. Again, depende po sa budget nyo at sa kung gaano kadalas kayo maglalaba. Kapag newborn, expect nyo thay they could use 7-10 diapers a day, pero kapag toddler na mga 3-5 a day na lang siguro. So let's say you have 10 CDs, you might have to do laundry daily. Compared to having 50 CDs, kahit once a week lang siguro ang laba. Personally, I had 27 and every 2-3 days ang laba ko. 3. Depende po sa inyo. Personally, Day 1 ko sya ginamitan, as soon as nakauwi na kami sa bahay. I bought a pack (1 dozen) of newborn diapers and hindi ko naubos, may 2pcs pang natira which I'm still intending to use sa 2nd born ko 😅 I wasn't too confident to use CD while on the hospital, alanganin magprewash ng diapers doon. Not to mention after all the mental and physical exhaustion you just went through, adding up the responsibility of CD maintenance might be too much. So take all the time you need until you feel you're ready. 4. Para sa akin, overall ay nakatipid ako at I'm glad hindi ako nastress sa basura. Let's say nakagastos ako total of P15k for my CD stash-- nagamit naman yun ni firstborn for 30months and ngayon ay magagamit pa ng 2nd child ko. Overall, for me it was worth it. Talagang additional sacrifice lang talaga sa paglalaba, kaya malaking tulong kung may automatic washing machine ka. Medyo nakakalito lang po at first tungkol sa iba't-ibang klaseng types of CDs. Basta ang ultimate na advise ko lang po sa pagbili ng CDs ay "What works for me might not work for you" (coz we have different preferences and lifestyles) & "Huwag agad bibili ng marami" -magtesting muna ng 1-2pcs per brand/ type bago bumili ng stash.
