Is cervix check painful?

Is it painful to check for dilation? Reading online and people were saying that it is, and even so when is checked during labour, is it really so?

I would say its not that painful but rather uncomfortable. Contraction pain is painful than cervix check. As a natural of a mother, trust me you can overcome it! 🤝
