Is it ok to not talk to newborn when awake

Is it ok to not talk to baby much when theyre awake? I feel bad for not talking to my baby when he’s awake but im way too tired and i just need time to rest for awhile 😭 but they say we need to always talk and interact with baby

Second the above comment! Don’t show reaction or talk to baby during night feeds… once you open your mouth… that’s it. Byebye sleep and by the time baby is asleep, it’s pump time and when you’re finally done, baby needs to feed again 🤣. Daytime I usually sleep talk (half awake half asleep) if my baby doesn’t want to sleep after feeding. Then afternoon feed I will play with her after feeding and burping, then do some TT as well (started from day 1).
