Depends on whether baby is ready anot. Although it’s advisable to start solids only when their neck is strong (able to sit unsupported) to avoid choking, you can always ask check with your gynae. Perhaps can start baby on rice cereal/purées.

I let baby to try cereal at 5months plus. Then pumpkin porridge and more varieties after 6 months old.
