Sterilising tablets for baby's clothes?

As we will not be washing baby's clothes immediately since they will be accumulated over a few days before loading in the washing machine to wash, is it necessary that before washing, we soak baby's clothes in water with sterilising tablets so that any stains on the clothes can be removed? Or just soak in soapy water (water with baby clothes detergent) will do? I see that sterilising tablets are for sterilising bottles and pump parts, so not sure if they are suitable for clothes.

For clothings with milk spit ups and food I’ll just rinse off / scrub with water then soak in baby detergent till my next wash. I wash every 5-6 days in the washing machine.
