Can normal GP( company panel doc) test for pregnancy?

Most of my friends went to a GP to confirm their pregnancy after suspecting that they were preggers or after taking a pregnancy test. Only after that do they book their first gynae appointment. Always good to check though, give them a ring and confirm :)

Yes, a normal GP is able to test for preg using preg kit. However, if you want to be sure that you are preg, you need to visit a gynae as they will scan the ultrasound to see your baby sac (a black dot). Normal GP will not be able to do so.
Yes. You can.. My female GP even has a ultrasound machine (but not those high end one) to check for sac..
