Is it normal to get fever 99-100 reading in armpit during cough and cold for toddler and fever will last for a day or two even three. Fever will come and go in these days

Hi, When we take fever in armpit then we have to take it one degree up. So, when it is 100 in armpit then it is close to 101 degrees. I think, we should not immediately start giving medicines to the baby and let the immune system fight it, which doesn't mean at all that we should not seek doctor's advice. But sometimes, we get general fever because of cough and cold and using some home remedies, the fever goes as soon as cough becomes fine. So, I think after one or two days if you see improvement it is fine else you should consult the paediatrician.
