“SioMalunggay” 🌿

Ingredients: 250 grams ground pork 6 cloves garlic minced 1 medium sized onion, minced 2 bundles Malunggay leaves, roughly chopped 1 onion leeks  or kinchay leaves, cut into slits 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/8 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon sesame oil 1/8 cup carrots, grated 1 medium sized egg Siomai wrapper Procedure: Put the ground pork inside a bowl then put carrots, garlic, onion, salt, pepper and sugar. Next, mix the Malunggay leaves, onion leeks, sesame oil and egg to serve as binder or to make the ingredients stick together. Form the mixture into balls then wrap each ball with Siomai wrapper then place them in the steamer and steam for about 25-30 minutes. Optional: For the sauce, mix the calamansi extract, soy sauce and sesame oil.
