My son just drooled all over my face and he has hfmd. Can I get it hfmd too? How severe is it in adults?

Riding onto the ladies comments, it would be best for you to also avoid any contacts with kids in case you pass it on to them. Like Idza mentioned, kids' immunity are lower than adults so the chances of them getting HMFD would be high. As they also said, they isn't a specific treatment for it but getting HMFD isn't exactly just a fever & itch. Keep yourself healthy with lots of water and healthy foods and remember to put cream on your blisters and not scratch them!
