Breastfeeding is between the mother and child.
Nobody else has the right to dictate when a baby should be weaned.
There's no need to even wean them off the breast as some children just self-wean when they feel that they have had enough of mummy's boobs and no longer need to suckle.
Extended breastfeeding has not proven to be detrimental, and the antibodies in breastmilk will still continue to strengthen the child's immune system.
