My baby cries most of the time while sleeping. Does it mean she's having a nightmare?

Babies have dreams as well and their dreams are related to their learning and experiences of the day. Crying during sleep could be your baby processing a traumatic experience such as not being attended to earlier in the day, and his/her crying was simply a response to that situation in the dream. What would help a baby sleep well would be to bring him/her to a calm and quiet place when settling your baby down to sleep. Too much attention from loved ones will make it difficult for a baby to sleep. Also, creating a safe and secure environment for your baby could also help minimize the occurrence of such terrifying dreams. Some babies cry due to teething, hungry, need to feel your warmth...
