My 5 month old has gas problems. Other than gripe water (which doesn't seem to be helping), what can I do? Would really appreciate any home remedies!

In general, babies have plenty of opportunities to swallow air thus making them gassy; like when they feed from a breast or bottle, suck a pacifier or cry. Thus, if your baby is generally happy and only fusses for a few seconds while passing gas, that’s a sign that it’s normal. Some ways to alleviate baby's discomfort caused by gas include giving baby a warm bath with baby wash infused with lavender and chamomile. This can relax baby's muscles and helps him release the gas. You can also gently massage baby's tummy in circular motions to alleviate the discomfort. http://sg.theasianparent.com/helping-your-baby-to-relieve-gas/
