My 2.5 year old wakes up way too early at 6 am. I get her to bed at 7.30pm. Is that too early a bedtime?

The mommy above is right -- 7.30pm is considered early in Singapore and kids usually go to sleep after 8 or 9ish. In countries with seasons, it can look like midnight when it's 7.30pm and is conducive for babies to sleep. I reckon as long as baby gets enough rest and it doesn't really disrupt your sleep schedule, it's okay to let them sleep earlier than usual? They'll adjust their sleeping patterns naturally as they get older.

Kids at this age usually sleep for 12 hours at night. So this waking time seems about right if she goes to sleep at 7 30am. I guess in Singapore, most children sleep after 8pm. I think at this age she should be only taking one nap in the afternoon. My advice would be to let her sleep at 8pm and I think the situation will improve. You can also try to wake up 10minutes before 6am to start patting her so that she doesn't wake.
