My 1yo son might be having a sore eye. Yellow puss has been coming out of his left eye & has since become red. Would he get medication for it if i bring him to the doc? Cause sometimes, there's no medication given due to the child being young. Any opinions/experiences. Do share. Thanks.

It might be Viral or bacterial conjunctivitis. Depending on what issue it is, , antibiotic eye drops might be given by the doctor. Meantime you might want to limit his contact with any other children and help relieve discomfort by doing a cold compression. http://www.hpb.gov.sg/HOPPortal/dandc-article/470
