Is it okay to take Methyldopa even if BP is normal?Should I take it as maintenance til manganak ako?

Mumsh, paadvise po. Pinapatake kasi ako ng Methyldopa twice a day. Pero right now, normal naman yung BP ko ranging from 110/80 to 130/80. Should I still take Methyldopa twice a day kahit di ako hypertensive? I have been monitoring my BP since July 15 up until now but no changes still normal BP. Overweight kasi ako prior pregnancy and my current weight is at 72 kilos. I was also strictly advised to not take maalat and matataba to avoid hypertension. Ngayon, sabi s hospital I might have gestational hypertension ruled out preeclampsia. Worried sick and overthinker nako kaya bumili talaga ako pang automatic arm blood pressure device to monitor my blood pressure kaso, s digital umaabot ako ng 140/100 kaya ngpapasecond opinion ako s brgy health center kasi s manual n pang bp normal lang ako - around 110/80 to 120/80 lang. Nakakaparanoid tuloy. 😣 I'm currently 31weeks and 5days today. #advicepls #pregnancy

yan din nereceta ni ob ko momsh. ngayon nag mo monitor nlng ako gamit ang digital bp ko tinigil ko kasi d ako hiyang sa gamot diziness,shortness of breathing and nausea ang effect sa akin. okay namn na bp ko normal 110/75 monitor ko nalang twice or trice a day. and 2-3 liters of water.

I'm taking that also nung preggy pa ako until nanganak ako, and yes even if nag normalize na ang bp ko hindi ako pina stop ng ob ko from taking it instead ni lessen nya lang yung dosage, from 2x a day ginawang once a day nalang.

nag 140/100 po ako last check up ko kaya pinag gamot rin ako ng Ob ko nyan. lalo po kung laging nag rerange ng 130 ang bp, might as well take the medicine po. may history rin sa family ko ng hypertension kaya ayun.

once a month kasi tumataas bp ko to 130/80 minsan 140/90 kaya worried ako . same scenario din nahihilo ako pg umiinom ng methyldopa. if i experience shortness of breath inom agad nyan kasi iba pakiramdam ko minsan lalo mdalas ako mag isa s bhy

ako nagtatake ako methydopa since 3 months ang tyan ko till nanganak ako.. okay naman cya mini maintain nia lng ung bp natin para di tumaas..safe naman po ako at c baby

Hi momsh better monitor your bp morning and night po. Methyldopa is safe for pregnancy at bnbgay sya to control Bp. Nagcheck ka naba ng urine protein?

Took the labtest but di ko p nkuha yung result. Will it affect po b s urine proteim result? Gusto ko kasi mg lying in/normal delivery lang sana. Fear of hospitals n din kasi due to covid. 🥺

Yan din gamot ko sa high blood ko. pero nanormal ko
