I’ll stop going office 1 month before my elective csect date. For me it’s the commuting that’s painful, it takes me ~1.5 hrs to reach office by bus -> train -> walk. Perhaps you can discuss with your boss and HR about it, I am sure they will understand your concerns especially if they’re parents themselves :)

I tried asking my boss to let me WFH 3 weeks before my EDD, but i end up WFH 1 week before my EDD due to lack of manpower. For me, my transportation from home to work is about 1.5hours and sometimes due to peak hours, no one will let me seat. Thus, when near my EDD, i always take grab to work and home.

I stopped work 1.5weeks before my induction date because baby was rather heavy and I’m a teacher. See what your doctor recommends. Very crucial to take care of yourself first, mummy. If you feel like you need rest before your due date, don’t be afraid to take it. It’s for baby AND you ♥️

Start arnd 3rd trimester, talked to my boss to let me wfh and he did.. then 2 weeks before EDD starts my HPL.whatever it is, talked to your boss and let them understand ur situation.

im a teacher and i worked until waterbag burst just to keep myself active. entirely up to you and baby. and talk it out with your higher management :)
